Mixed Lighting

Alright this was really hard to do and I'll probably upload better pictures.

Here I have my friend with his face being lit up by dying light as he had his flash light pointed at his golden hair.

Once again with the hair I had my friend point his flashlight at the side of his head as his back was to the sun.

I could have done better with this picture. But my friend was somewhat in front of the son as a flashlight lit up his beard.

Proper Studio Lighting

For this shot I had my friend just sit in front of the camera making any face he wanted. But for the lighting I had the main overhead light from the room on and a strong lamp facing the right side of his face. It made the right side of his face glow.

This was a cool shot. What I did was pretty simple. First I turned off the main light then I put the lamp through a window. So in the darkness the reflection of the light going through the window made him look really cool and it makes you wonder what he is thinking.

Another simple lighting picture. It is almost the same as the first one but the difference is that I had the lamp very close to him and I had turned off the main light. It really shows you how lighting can affect your photo.

Here's a contact sheet of the photos that I took that have survived the process of me deleting them by mistake.

Cardsharps

For this lighting project I decided to photoshop the painting "Cardsharps" by Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio and put my friends face onto one of the card player's face. All in all I think that I did a really great job with with this photoshop and project. It was a lot of fun to do as well!
The Cardsharps painting was painted by Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio in the year of 1594. This painting was a big step in Caravaggio's career as a painter because he was trying to have an independent career after leaving the workshop of the Cavaliere Giuseppe Cesari d'Arpino.

Alphabet

Tristan Reid

We got this assignment in class and I was looking very forward to this because it gave me a chance to write out my name with some of my old pictures mixed with my new pictures. It was a really fun assignment to do!
